Camila Kurebayashi currently serves as the Conference Carolinas 2011-2012 intern.  A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Kurebayashi came to Conference Carolinas after graduating in May 2011 from Mount Olive College where she was a four year women’s tennis standout and intern with the Mount Olive College marketing department. While working in the marketing department, she was responsible for gathering data for several projects, helped coordinate students and faculty for advertisements, and analyzed effectiveness of various marketing efforts including web, social media, and print.

Kurebayashi earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mount Olive College in 2011, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Trojans tennis team. On the court, she earned all-conference honors during her sophomore, junior and senior years. She received the team leadership award in 2011 while leading the team in wins with a 15-4 record in singles and 15-2 mark in doubles.

At Mount Olive, Kurebayashi was a Top 12 Female Student Athlete, recipient of the M.L. Johnson Business Award, Scholar-Athlete of the Month for April, and a Mount Olive College Marshall. During her time in college, Kurebayashi attended the NCAA Career Sports Forum and the NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference. Kurebayashi  was also selected as one of two Conference Carolinas honorees for 2011 NCAA Woman of the Year.

Among her professional experience, she completed an internship with former Mexican President Vicente Fox, where she participated in cultural awareness workshops as well as business practices between Mexico and America. She also completed a summer internship at Provital Group, a cosmetic company with operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Kurebayashi currently lives in High Point, North Carolina and has plans to complete a Master’s degree in Global Marketing.
