Queens Crouch Wins 1,500-m National Title By .10s
SAN ANGELO, Texas- Queens' runner Michael Crouch (Yucca Valley, Calif., Yucca Valley ) held the no. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in the 1,500-meter event Saturday in San Angelo, Texas and he finished the race in the same position to claim National Championship Title in the event. The title is the first for Queens' in outdoor track on the men's side and a new Queens school record in the event.

QUC's Zeferjahn Wins First Women's Track National Championship!
SAN ANGELO, TEXAS- Tanya Zeferjahn (Hesperia, Calif., Hesperia High School) clinched Queens University of Charlotte’s first women’s national title by winning the NCAA DII National Championship 10,000-meter run in warm breezy conditions in San Angelo, Texas on the first day of the three-day track and field competition.

Bill Hodge Named Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach At Belmont Abbey College
Bill Hodge, a multi-time coach of the year honoree in four different Division I conferences and a highly successful recruiter with an emphasis on success in and out of the classroom, has been named head men’s and women’s track and field coach at Belmont Abbey College, according to an announcement from Director of Athletics Richard Dull. Hodge will also assume head men’s and women’s cross country coaching duties upon the retirement of Brother Paul Shanley, O.S.B. after the 2009 season.
