Always do
your best!

1 Timothy 1:5 “And the aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.”

My motto is…

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ witch strengthens me.”

Nothing is impossible; it’s about how hard you are willing to work.

Tobe Frierson! She is always friendly, goes to many events, and is always so positive.

Miss Lori…the most humble lady I know.  I can go to her for anything & she is always going to provide me something to learn from.

Someone on campus I admire is…

My roommate and cousin, Chandler Ligas because he’s the most positive person I know and no matter what he always works hard.  He would do anything for anyone on the team and never puts himself first.

My coaches and teammates.

Conference Carolinas Championship!!!!

Mount Olive

The game on our schedule that I’m looking forward to the most is…

Playing Erskine on Homecoming.

Our next game.

Almond milk, coffee creamer, & to-go protein shakes.

Organic skim milk, sweet potatoes, greek yogurt, & salmon as I’m a health freak.

In my refrigerator right now…

Gatorade, water, & V8 smoothies.

Milk, jam, eggs, ketchup, tortillas, chicken, yogurt, meat sauce, lettuce, tomato, & orange juice.

“He>me”

My personalized license plate is/would be…

It was close to home and I could play volleyball.

The mountains are beautiful! And the soccer girls are like family.

I chose my school/ConfCarolinas/DII because…

Beautiful campus and polite people.

It was the perfect fit for me.

Doing anything outside. I love the outdoors and would much rather be outside than inside.

Out by the pool reading a good book or hiking in the mountains.

On a nice sunny day you’ll find me…

Walking outside.

Next to the pool.

Mount Olive

Belmont Abbey

The biggest ConfCarolinas
rival school is…

Pfeiffer or Queens

Lees-McCrae or Limestone.

Travel across the United States and to other countries.

Hanging out with my girls or reading love stories.

Be getting ready to go to graduate school or try to commission in the United States Air Force. U-S-A!

Be an event coordinator for a non-profit sporting organization.

After college, I will probably…

Become a high school counselor and hopefully coach too.

Go to Med School to further my education.

Because of the great people I’ve been able to meet…and of course the pickles.

The sport management degree offered.

I chose my school/ConfCarolinas/DII because…

Because I was given the chance to keep playing soccer at the next level, and my mom is a LMC alumni.

It was the best fit for me & relatively close to home.

Cool people don’t need to explain why they’re cool.

I’ve moved 14 times and moved across the country 4 times.

The thing that makes me cool is…

My personality.

My drive to succeed.

Managing time to eat, sleep, study, and breathe.  Free time is hard to come by.

Time management

The most difficult thing about being a student-athlete is…

Trying to balance a school life with the athletic life and maintain good grades.

Balancing everything between school, soccer, and trying to get involved with extracurriculars to set yourself up for the future.

Go ahead and get my Masters in Education then hopefully return home to teach at a local elementary school. I want to give back to the community.

Further my education by going to graduate school.

After college, I will probably…

Be a physical education teacher at a high school and a soccer coach.

Hang up the spikes and focus on paying off my college loans.

Not reaching my full potential as a student. My biggest fear is falling behind academically and not being able to regain my GPA.

Snakes

I am extremely scared of…

Suffering an injury that will keep me from playing soccer.

Disappointing those I care about.

Dr. Ciammara. He is so welcoming and caring...and is interested in how students are succeeding all-around.

Upper-classmen and Coach Michelle Wilson

Someone on campus I admire is…

Coach Paul Coleman for his dedication to the team and hard work he puts in.

I learn the most when the coach/professor…

Demonstrates the drill or problem they are talking about.

Relates to me and cares about me as an individual.

Dylan Bates
COKER

Balancing my schoolwork and practice to where I give my all in succeeding in both.

The most difficult thing about being a student-athlete is…

The schedule… between training, classes, homework, extracurricular activities, sleep, etc.

Kelly Lancellot:
What went on inside my head

When I write my autobiography, the title
will be…

Train hard; Win Easy or
The Value of Time Management
(& Sleep)

Go home to Florida and get into a Master’s program there for education, then start teaching.

After college, I will probably…

Go on to get my Ph.D. while continuing to pursue running and triathlons.

“Athletes must learn to give everything they have for today, whether it’s in practice or a game. Anything they save has been lost forever.”

What is the motto you live by?

If it’s going to be,
it’s up to me.

Volleyball,
obviously (:

The thing that makes
 me cool is…

That I’m Canadian while also being a double major, triathlete, and second degree black belt.
