Three Conference Carolinas Student-Athletes Named to Google Cloud Academic All-District Track/Cross Country Teams

GREENWOOD, IND. - Conference Carolinas was represented by three student-athletes from two institutions on the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Track/Cross Country Teams, it was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Tuesday (May 29) afternoon.

University of Mount Olive led the way with two Trojans making the list, men's runner Jonathan Dahlke and women's runner Leah Hanle. Barton College's Justin Alford closed out the Conference Carolinas honorees.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with Google Cloud Academic All-America® teams announced in June.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
