Pfeiffer's Clark Named Week 16 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University guard A.J Clark has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb 20-26, the Conference announced today. This marks Clark's fourth Conference POTW and fifth for Pfeiffer.

A senior from Burlington, N.C., Clark led the Falcons to an 80-62 win over Belmont Abbey last week to close out the regular season.

In the victory, Clark would post 23 points, collect five rebounds and dish out two assists to lead the Falcons to the win. The win gave Pfeiffer a share of the regular season title and the top seed in the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship.


Pfeiffer's Clark Named Week 15 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University guard A.J Clark has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb 13-19, the Conference announced today. This marks LeVeau's second Conference POTW and third for King.

Clark, a senior from Burlington, N.C., propelled the Falcons into first place of the Conference Carolinas standings after going 2-0 last week. He averaged 29 points on 66.7 percent shooting from the field and sihed out four assists a game.

In a 110-101 win over Belmont Abbey, Clark poured in 34 points with four assists and shot better than 70 percent from the field and three-point range. In a clash between the top two teams in the league, Clark scored 24 points, dished four dimes and collected two steals as Pfeiffer knocked off Limestone 82-76.


Belmont Abbey's Lane Named Week 14 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College forward Deion Lane has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 30 - Feb. 5, the Conference announced today. This marks LeVeau's second Conference POTW and third for King.

A junior from Charlotte, N.C., Lane paced the Crusaders to a 2-0 week in Conference Carolinas action by shooting 73.7 percent from the field and averaging 22.5 points and seven rebounds per game.

Lane would shoot 66.7 percent from the field and score 16 points to go along with seven boards in a 76-62 victory over Mount Olive. His encore would come against North Greenville and it would be a career night. Lane would pour in 29 points on 8-for-10 shooting (4-for-4 from three), while going 9-for-9 from the charity stripe. He would also grab seven rebounds and block two shots.


King's LeVeau Named Week 13 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University forward Hunter LeVeau has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 30 - Feb. 5, the Conference announced today. This marks LeVeau's second Conference POTW and third for King.

LeVeau, a senior from Johnson City, Tenn., had an impressive week for King, leading the team to a 2-0 week, including a win over league-leading Limestone after averaging 21.5 points on 55.6 percent shooting (52.4 3P%). LeVeau also eclipsed the 1,500-point mark for his career, sitting in eighth on the King all-time list with 1,536 career points.

In an 88-76 win over Emmanuel, LeVeau poured in 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting, 6-for-10 from three, and grabbed four boards. In a close 96-89 win over Limestone, LeVeau connected on five threes and added another bucket to notch 17 points and lead the Tornado over the Saints.


Limestone's Stewart Named Week 12 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Shaun Stewart has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 23-29, the Conference announced today. This is Stewart's fourth Conference POTW and Limestone's sixth of the season.

A senior from Indian Trail, N.C., Stewart had another efficient week for the Saints and propelled them to a 3-0 week in Conference Carolinas play. He shot 63.3 percent from the field (50 percent 3pt%) and averaged 28.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

Against Belmont Abbey, Stewart poured in 22 points to go along with three dimes, three steals and three blocks to lead Limestone to an 89-67 victory. In a 90-56 rout of Barton, Stewart would go for 31 points and shoot 70.6 percent from the field. He would add five assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block to his game totals. In the week finale against Mount Olive, Stewart would notch a double-double with 33 points and 10 boards in the 73-62 win.


Barton's Buck-Lowman Named Week 11 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College forward Isaiah Buck-Lowman has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 16-22, the Conference announced today. This marks Buck-Lowman's second Conference POTW award.

Buck-Lowman, a freshman from Woodbridge, Va., was the offensive catalyst behind the Bulldogs going 2-0 last week in Conference Carolinas play. The forward averaged 23 points on 67.9 percent shooting and added 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals.

Against Limestone, Buck-Lowman would pour in 22 points, four boards, two steals and two blocks to lead the team to a 67-66 win over the league-leading Saints. As an encore, Buck-Lowman notched 24 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 90-81 victory against Belmont Abbey.


Limestone's Stewart Named Week 10 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Shaun Stewart has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 9-15, the Conference announced today. This is Stewart's third Conference POTW and Limestone's fifth of the season.

A senior from Indian Trail, N.C., Stewart was an efficient scoring machine for the Saints, as he led them to a 2-0 week in conference play. He averaged 28.5 points per game on 56.3 percent shooting, including 58.3 from three-point range, and 93.3 percent from the charity stripe. Stewart added five boards and 1.5 steals per game to his averages.

In a 74-61 win over Emmanuel, Stewart scored a modest 17 points and notched four boards, two assists and two steals. His best performance came in a 109-99 overtime win over Pfeiffer. Stewart poured in 40 points on 13-for-20 shooting (7-for-10 from three) and 7-for-7 from the free throw line with five rebounds.


Limestone's Harris Named Week 9 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College forward Donovan Harris has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 2-8, the Conference announced today.

Harris, a junior from Burlington, N.C., was a glass cleaner for the Saints in their two Conference Carolinas wins last week. The forward averaged 17.5 rebounds to go along with 7.5 points per game and shot 63.6 percent from the field.

In a 78-75 overtime win over King, Harris would post a double-double by setting a Limestone record with 20 rebounds and adding 10 points. Against Mount Olive in a 76-51 victory, Harris snatched 15 boards and tallied five points.


Limestone's Stewart Named Week 8 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College forward Shaun Stewart has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 26 - Jan. 1, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Indian Trail, S.C., Stewart lifted the Saints to a narrow 83-81 win over Lander with a 30-point performance on 12-for-19 shooting, including 3-for-5 from three-point range. He would also add nine assists, five rebounds and one steal to his stat line.


Barton's Buck-Lowman Named Week 7 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College forward Isaiah Buck-Lowman has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 19-25, the Conference announced today.

Buck-Lowman, a freshman from Woodbridge, Va., propelled the Bulldogs to their fifth straight win in a 68-56 victory over Elizabeth City St. The forward would notch 17 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes of action, while adding one assist, one steal and one block to his totals.


King's St. Louis Named Week 6 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University forward Malcolm St. Louis has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 12-18, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Lebanon, Tenn., St. Louis posted a double-double and led the Tornado to a 93-67 victory over Virginia-Wise. He would go 7-for-7 from the field and 1-for-1 from the charity stripe to notch 15 points, while also recording 11 rebounds and three blocks.


Limestone's Dance Named Week 5 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Shaq Dance has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 5-11, the Conference announced today.

Dance, a senior from Garner, N.C., averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds along with five assists and 2.5 blocks to lead Limestone to a 2-0 record last week.

In Limestone's 88-77 win over Coker, Dance would pour in 27 points with 12 boards and two blocks. However, his best performance came in a 94-77 rout of Lees-McRae, where Dance came just an assist short of a triple double, finishing the contest with 19 points, 12 boards and nine dimes to go with three blocks.


Pfeiffer's Calhoun Named Week 4 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University guard Josh Calhoun has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 28 - Dec. 4, the Conference announced today.

A junior hailing from Rockingham, N.C., Calhoun was the definition of efficiency for the Falcons, as he averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and two assists in just 19 minutes per game. Pfeiffer would go 2-0 on the week and top 100 points in each contest while winning by an average of 40 points.

In a 125-81 win over Mount Olive, Calhoun would only need 21 minutes to post 16 points on 4-for-8 shooting, four boards and three steals. In just 17 minutes against St. Andrews, Calhoun would tally 25 points on 8-for-13 shooting, grab seven boards, collect four steals and dish out three assists to lead Pfeiffer to a 131-95 victory.


King's LeVeau Named Week 3 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University forward Hunter LeVeau has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 21-27, the Conference announced today.

LeVeau, a senior from Johnson City, Tenn., was an offensive juggernaut for the Tornado, leading the team to a 1-1 week. LeVeau would average 27.5 points and eight rebounds on the week while shooting 54.8 percent from the field, 52.6 percent from three and 100 percent from the charity stripe.

Against North Greenville, LeVeau would have a career night, matching his career-high in points (29) and rebounds (11). In the 71-67 win, LeVeau would shoot 66.7 percent from the floor (8-for-12), 80 percent from three (4-for-5) and 100 percent from the free throw line (9-for-9). In a narrow 95-92 loss to Clayton State, LeVeau scored 26 points and grabbed five rebounds.

A senior from Indian Trail, N.C., Stewart led the Saints to a pair of wins over South Atlantic Conference opponents by averaging 23.5 points and 6.5 rebounds, while shooting 51.6 percent from the field.

Against Coker, Stewart would post 16 points and six rebounds to go along with two assists and one steal to pace the Saints to a 76-75 win. Stewart's best performance would come against Anderson (S.C.) in a 77-69 victory. He would dropped 31 points on 11-for-18 shooting, including 4-for-7 from three-point range and 5-for-6 from the charity stripe, and would add seven boards and two steals to his game totals.


Pfeiffer’s Clark Named Week 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University guard A.J. Clark has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 11-13, the Conference announced today.

Clark, a senior from Burlington, N.C., led the Falcons to a 2-0 record over the weekend in the Conference Carolinas/Peach Belt Conference Challenge. In the two victories, Clark averaged 23.5 points and four assists per game.

Against Georgia College, Clark poured in 23 points, with 17 coming in the second half, to lead Pfeiffer to an 87-81 victory. As an encore, Clark would continue his hot scoring against North Georgia, as he dropped 24 points and dished out five assists in a 93-86 win.
