Pfeiffer’s Nelms Named Week 11 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University's Olivia Nelms was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 10-16, the Conference announced today.

Nelms, a senior from Chesterfield, England, went a combined 4-0 last week and helped the Falcons clinch to the final spot in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship.

Limestone’s Boulbin Named Week 10 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Alexandra Boulbin was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 3-9, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Lausanne, Switerland, Boulbin picked up a pair of wins for Limestone at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles against Conference Carolinas foe Lees-McRae.

Barton’s Avram Named Week 9 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Daria Avram was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 27 - Apr. 2, the Conference announced today.

Avram, a sophomore from Buzau, Romania, went a combined 6-1 last week for the Bulldogs, including picking up a singles win against Division I Campbell University.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Gabriela van Ooststroom was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 20-26, the Conference announced today.

A freshman from Oisterwijk, Netherlands, van Ooststroom propelled the Saints to a 3-0 team record last and kept them undefeated in Conference Carolinas play. She went a combined 6-0 at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College's Aisiri Jandyala was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 13-19, the Conference announced today.

A freshman from Orlando, Fla., Jandyala led the Crusaders to a 5-0 record as a team after going a combined 10-0 last week.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Camille Haus was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 6-12, the Conference announced today.

Haus, a freshman hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, led the Saints to a pair of Conference Carolinas victories after going a combined 4-0 last week.

Erskine’s Weaver Named Week 5 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College's Rebecca Weaver was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 27 - Mar. 5, the Conference announced today.

A junior from Lake City, S.C., Weaver went a combined 4-0 for the Fleet last week. She would pick up a 6-4, 7-6 straight-set victory at No. 5 singles against Barton, while also notching an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Against Mount Olive, Weaver would win 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles and 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.


Southern Wesleyan’s Dorley Named Week 4 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Southern Wesleyan's Aimee Dorley was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 20-26, the Conference announced today.

Dorley, a senior from Purmerend, Netherlands, went 4-2 combined last week and led the Warriors to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins, including a victory over preseason favorite Mount Olive.

After dropping two matches in non-conference play, Dorley would register a 4-0 record the rest of the week. Against Mount Olive, she would pick up a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles and 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles. Against Barton, Dorley would close out the week with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4 singles and an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.


Barton’s Avram Named Week 3 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Daria Avram was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 13-19, the Conference announced today.

A sophomore from Buzau, Romania, Avram put together an outstanding week for the Bulldogs, as she went a combined 2-0. Avram would beat the No. 20 ranked player in the Atlantic region in No. 1 singles with a score of 6-3, 7-5. She would also win her flight at No. 1 doubles with a score of 8-1.


Belmont Abbey’s Jandyala Named Week 2 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College's Aisiri Jandyala was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 6-12, the Conference announced today.

Jandyala, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., had an impressive week for the Crusaders, going a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles against two top 50 ranked teams. Against No. 42 Augusta, Jandyala would take her flight at No. 1 singles with a score of 8-6, while notching an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Against No. 30 USC Aiken, Jandyala would post an 8-5 win at No. 1 singles and an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.


Erskine’s Berkey Named Week 1 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College's Rachel Berkey was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Jan. 30 - Feb. 5.

A sophomore from Myrtle Beach, S.C., Berkey posted a 4-0 record on the week and led the Fleet to a pair of non-conference wins. She would get the week started with a 6-1, 6-0 straight-set victory at No. 3 singles and an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles against Newberry. Berkey would then pick up a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles over Coker, while delivering an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles over the Cobras.
