North Greenville's Wade Named Week 11 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Brooke Wade was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Apr. 9-15.

Wade, a sophomore from Greer, S.C., led NGU to a 4-2 record in Conference Carolinas play last week after posting a .438 average with seven hits and four RBI.


King's Brokering Named Week 10 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University's Kay Brokering was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Apr. 2-8.

A junior from Shelbyville, Ind., Brokering led King to a 4-0 record last week against of pair of Conference Carolinas foes. She batted .600 with six hits, including two doubles and one homer, and six RBI to move the Tornado into the top five of the Conference standings.


Limestone's Butler Named Week 9 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Audra Butler was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Mar. 26 - Apr. 1.

Butler, a freshman from Cheraw, S.C., made the most of her three plate appearances for the Saints, as she registered a .667 average on two hits with four RBI to help lead the team to a 4-0 record last week. Butler would go hitless in her lone at bat in a 1-0 game one win over North Greenville, but would redeem herself with a two-run homer in a 5-0 game two win over the Crusaders. Butler would then be the hero in game one against King, as she laced a game-winning two-run double to earn the 2-0 win for Limestone.


Limestone's Parnell Named Week 8 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Ashley Parnell was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Mar. 19-25.

A freshman from Starr, S.C., Parnell collected five hits, two of which were doubles, and batted 1.000 on the week to lead Limestone to a sweep of Conference Carolinas foe Southern Wesleyan. She would notch one RBI and score four runs on the week.


King's Brokering Named Week 7 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University's Kay Brokering was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Mar. 12-18.

Brokering, a junior from Shelbyville, N.C., led the Tornado to a 4-2 record last week with her hot hitting at the plate. She collected a total of seven hits, including four doubles and one homer, for a .412 average with eight RBI.


Barton's Onega Named Week 6 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Jessica Onega was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Mar. 5-11.

A junior from Belle Glade, Fla., Onega batted .684 with 13 hits (4 2B, 1 HR) and 12 RBI last week for the Bulldogs. Her performance led Barton to a 4-2 week.


North Greenville's Griffin Named Week 5 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Jaelin Griffin was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 26 - Mar. 4.

Griffin, a freshman from Belmont, N.C., led NGU to a 2-2 week by posting a .615 batting average on eight hits, which included three doubles and one home run. She also tallied six RBI while scoring four runs. In a 17-1 win over Claflin, Griffin went 4-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI.


King's Riddle Named Week 4 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University's Hannah Riddle was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 19-25.

A senior from Greeneville, Tenn., Riddle collected nine hits and a .474 batting average to land the Tornado a 4-2 record last week. Of her nine hits, three were home runs and one double. Riddle also added seven RBI and seven runs scored to her weekly totals.


North Greenville's Lee Named Week 3 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Kate Lee was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 12-18.

Lee, a junior from Gilbert, S.C., posted a .333 batting average with four hits, including one triple and one home run, and four RBI to pace the Crusaders to a 3-1 record last week. Her best performance came in NGU's 7-1 victory over No. 20 Carson-Newman, as she went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.


North Greenville's Koon Named Week 2 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Taylor Koon was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 5-11.

A freshman from Rutherfordton, N.C., Koon led the Crusaders to a 3-1 week after batting .500 with five hits and five RBI. Her best performance was a 2-for-2 game with two RBI in a 2-0 win against Anderson (S.C.).


Barton's Blake Named Week 1 Softball Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Jordan Blake  was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 1-4.

Blake, a freshman from Jackson Springs, N.C., put together a four-hit week with three extra-base hits (2 HR, 2B) and six RBI to lead the Bulldogs to a 1-1 opening week. Her best performance was a 3-for-4 outing with a homer, triple and five RBI.
