Lees-McRae’s Thompson Named Week 3 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

       

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Lees-McRae College's Austin Thompson has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the Conference announced today.

Austin Thompson led the LMC men's cross country at last week's Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational with an 8k time of 26:35.66. The time logged by Thompson is the 10th-best time in the history of LMC men's cross country. The Cleveland, Ga. native now owns six of top 20 times in the history of the program. 


North Greenville’s Keller Named Week 2 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

      

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville's Jonathan Keller has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the Conference announced today.

A native of Gaffney, SC., Keller placed 3rd out of 75 competitors at the Tusculum Zaxby's Open Friday, September 7. The junior ran a time of 16:47.7 in the 5k, contributing to his team's overall 3rd place finish.


Mount Olive’s Smith Named Week 1 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

     

HIGH POINT, N.C.Mount Olive’s Tai Smith has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the Conference announced today.

A native of Glendale, AZ., Smith took a 3rd-place finish at the inaugural Mount Olive Twilight this Friday, August 31. In his season opener, the junior would run the event in 26:39.9 to help pace Mount Olive to a first-place team finish.
