10 Conference Carolinas Baseball Players Earn ABCA/Rawlings Postseason Recognition

GREENSBORO, N.C. - 10 Conference Carolinas baseball players earned postseason recognition from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the association announced recently.

A pair of pitchers earned All-America honors, as University of Mount Olive's Zach Vennaro earned second team honors, while North Greenville University's Tucker Burgess nabbed third team recognition.

In addition to All-America honors, Vennaro and Burgess each earned first team Southeast All-Region recognition. Also earning first team all-region honors was Mount Olive's Nate Estes, North Greenville's Connor Grant, Belmont Abbey College's Luke Cureton and Erskine College's Austin Mapes.

Garnering second team all-region was Limestone College's Chase Allen, Belmont Abbey's Colin Rosenbaum, and the Mount Olive duo of Justin Carroll and German Reyes.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athleticconference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount OliveNorth Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA DII membership process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
