HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Jonathan York has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Swimmer of the Week for meets swam during the week of Nov. 26 - Dec. 2, the Conference announced today. This marks the second POTW for York and third overall for Barton.
York, a freshman from Midlothian, Va., posted five victories and led the Bulldogs to a first-place finish at Randolph-Macon's Yellow Jacket Invitational this past weekend. York earned Barton's first "B" cut qualifying time with a school-record in the 1,650-yard freestyle. In addition, York set program marks in the 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relay.
