HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University officially captured the 2017 Conference Carolinas regular season championship on Monday (Apr. 24) afternoon.
The Falcons enter the 2017 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship as the No. 1 seed after turning in an 18-2 record. Earning the No. 2 seed is Limestone College with a 17-3 record. The No. 3 seed will be North Greenville University with its 17-5 record, while King University earned the No. 4 seed with a 15-5 record.
Rounding out the bracket is No. 5 seed Erskine College (12-8), No. 6 seed University of Mount Olive (13-9), No. 7 seed Barton College (11-11) and No. 8 seed Lees-McRae College (6-16).
The 2017 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship will be hosted by Burlington Recreation & Parks on Apr. 28-30, at Springwood Park in Burlington, N.C. The Conference Carolinas Softball Championship winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
