Five Conference Carolinas Players Named to D2CCA All-Region Softball Team

MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. - Conference Carolinas was represented by five softball players from three institutions on the 2017 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region team, the association announced Monday (May 15) afternoon.

After being named the 2017 Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Year, Limestone College's Josie Weber was tabbed a first team all-region selection, while her teammate and 2017 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year Caroline Hill was named a second team selection for the second straight year.

Pfeiffer University placed two players on the second team, as Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year Makenzie Pennell and Sydney Poole received the honors. North Greenville University's Amanda Coffrin closed out the honorees for Conference Carolinas with a second team nod.
