HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College officially captured the 2018 Conference Carolinas regular season championship on Monday (Apr. 23) afternoon.
The Saints enter the 2018 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship as the No. 1 seed after turning in an 17-1 record. Earning the No. 2 seed is Erskine College with a 16-2 record. The No. 3 seed will be North Greenville University with its 15-5 record, while King University earned the No. 4 seed with a 13-7 record.
Rounding out the bracket is No. 5 seed Lees-McRae College (11-9), No. 6 seed Belmont Abbey College (9-11), No. 7 seed University of Mount Olive (9-11) and No. 8 seed Barton College (5-15).
The 2018 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship will be hosted by The City of Burlington Recreation & Parks on Apr. 27-29, at Springwood Park in Burlington, N.C. The Conference Carolinas Softball Championship winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
