66 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track and Field Athletes Named Division II All-Region Honorees

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – All-Region honorees for the NCAA Division II outdoor track and field season were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday (May 14) afternoon.

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned the All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions’ top three relay teams. Women’s honors went to 640 different athletes from 151 different institutions, while men’s All-Region honors went to 688 student-athletes from 176 different institutions.

Conference Carolinas had 66 individuals, 36 men and 30 women, receive Southeast All-Region honors. Of the 66, 10 men received all-region honors in multiple events, while eight women received multiple all-region recognition.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
