Three other players return from a 2008-09 squad that finished 22-6 overall and won the Conference Carolinas regular-season championship at 18-4. However, the Lady Bulldogs were left out of the NCAA Tournament, so they have a point to prove this season.

The initiative aligns with Division IIs game-environment effort, but − perhaps more importantly − it comes from the student-athletes who may have something to teach the fans who otherwise feel entitled to give game officials their two cents.
