Five Conference Carolinas Players Named to IWLCA All-Region Team

GRAND LAKE, CO. - Conference Carolinas was represented by five women's lacrosse players from two institutions on the 2017 Division II South All-Region team, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced recently.

Limestone College would place four players on the all-region team, while University of Mount Olive added one.

Headlining the group for Limestone was first team selection Carleigh Davis. Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year Shannon Sisk was named a second team selection along with teammate Alyssa Voccia, while Rose Blackburn rounded out the Saint honorees with third team recognition.

Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year Hailey Dobbins earned second team honors for the Trojans.

These student-athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-America teams, which will be announced on Thursday, May 18. See full IWLCA release here
