Chowan University's Carolina Lucci Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week

 HIGH POINT, N.C.Chowan University forward Carolina Lucci has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 2 - 8, the Conference announced today. This is Lucci's third POTW honor this year.  

Lucci, a freshman from Monaca, Pa., further secured her spot as the leading scorer in the league by netting 3 goals in 2 games last week.  

One of those goals, along with 2 assists, came during Chowan's 5-0 shutout of Lincoln University.  Her other 2 goals came as she led the way to a 2-0 win over King University on Saturday.  

Lucci currently tops the Conference Carolinas statistical standings in both points (27) and goals (12).
