Southern Wesleyan's O'Connor Named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Southern Wesleyan University's Paige O'Connor has been named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played during the week of Oct. 23-29, the Conference announced today. This is O'Connor's third POTW honor this season. 

A senior from Ada, Mich., O'Connor posted a double-double in a Warriors' win in their lone match last week. O'Connor put away 22 kills on a .327 hitting percentage to go with 10 digs to lead SWU to a 3-2 win over Belmont Abbey.

O'Connor currently ranks first in total kills (381) and points (438), while rankings second in kills per set (3.85) and fourth in hitting percentage (.258) in the Conference Carolinas statistical standings.
