Conference Carolinas Soccer Championships Quarterfinal Action Set for Saturday

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2019 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships get underway on Saturday, Nov. 9 with quarterfinal action.

Chowan (10-4-1, 8-1-1 Conference Carolinas) is the No. 1 seed in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Championship after earning the conference regular season title outright.

The top four seeds in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Championship host quarterfinal matchups this Saturday with Chowan hosting eighth-seeded Lees-McRae, second-seeded Belmont Abbey hosting seventh-seeded Mount Olive, third-seeded Erskine hosting sixth-seeded Emmanuel and fourth-seeded Barton playing host to fifth-seeded Limestone.

The highest remaining seed after quarterfinal action will host the semifinals and finals of the 2019 Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Championship. The semifinals will be on Friday, Nov. 15 with the championship match scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 17.

Undefeated and regionally-ranked Mount Olive (11-0-3, 9-0-2 Conference Carolinas) is the No. 1 seed in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women’s Soccer Championship. The Trojans earned their first outright women’s soccer conference championship in 2019. It was their first title in women’s soccer since winning the division in 2011. 

The top four seeds in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women’s Soccer Championship host quarterfinal matchups this Saturday with Mount Olive hosting eighth-seeded Southern Wesleyan, second-seeded Belmont Abbey hosting seventh-seeded Chowan, third-seeded Barton hosting sixth-seeded Emmanuel and fourth-seeded Limestone hosting fifth-seeded North Greenville.

The highest remaining seed after quarterfinal action will host the semifinals and finals of the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women’s Soccer Championship. The semifinals will be on Thursday, Nov. 14 with the championship match scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16.
