Nine Conference Carolinas Schools Appear in Final Division II Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup Standings

CLEVELAND, OHIO – The final set of Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings were released Wednesday (June 12) morning, with nine Conference Carolinas schools appearing on the list.

Limestone College led the way for the league with a 46th-place finish with 345.25 points, while University of Mount Olive finished just outside of the Top 50 in 55th-place with 317.17 points. Finishing in the Top 200 was Emmanuel College at No. 120 with 174 points, North Greenville University at No. 135 with 150 points and Barton College at No. 189 with 89 points. 

Rounding out Conference Carolinas representatives were Belmont Abbey College at No. 216 with 60 points, Lees-McRae College at No. 239 with 37.50 points, King University at No. 250 with 25 points and Southern Wesleyan University at No. 267 with 10 points.

The Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
