Limestone’s Lafler Named Week 12 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College midfield Courtney Lafler has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Apr. 15-21, the Conference announced today. This marks the fourth POTW for Lafler and the fifth overall for Limestone.

A senior from Penn Yan, N.Y., Lafler led No. 13 Limestone to a Conference Carolinas regular season championship with a win over Emmanuel. Lafler broke the all-time Limestone goals record when she notched six goals in the 23-0 victory, while also tallying two assists for a total of eight points.


Limestone’s Lafler Named Week 11 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College midfield Courtney Lafler has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Apr. 8-14, the Conference announced today. This marks the third POTW for Lafler and the fourth overall for Limestone.

Lafler, a senior from Penn Yan, N.Y., led No. 10 Limestone to a 1-1 record last week. Lafler registered 19 points on 12 goals and seven assists with four ground balls and two caused turnovers in the two games.

In a 14-11 loss to then-No. 13 Queens (NC), Lafler tallied seven points on four goals and three assists with one ground ball. Lafler would close out the week by breaking the Limestone single-season goals record, as she notched eight goals with four assists for 12 points. Lafler would add three ground balls and two caused turnovers to her game totals.


Belmont Abbey’s Eastman Named Week 10 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College attack Kylie Eastman has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Apr. 1-7, the Conference announced today. This marks the first POTW for Eastman and the second overall for Belmont Abbey.

A sophomore from Mechanicsville, Va., Eastman led Belmont Abbey to a 1-1 record last week in Conference Carolinas action against Limestone and Erskine. Eastman tallied 21 points on 15 goals and six assists with nine draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the games.

In a 17-12 loss to Limestone, Eastman collected 10 points with six goals and four assists to go with three draws, one ground ball and one caused turnover. Eastman then posted 11 points on nine goals and two assists with six draw, one ground ball and one caused turnover in a 26-16 win over Erskine.


Barton’s Scarpa Named Week 9 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College attack Angelina Scarpa has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 25-31, the Conference announced today.

Scarpa, a sophomore from Hicksville, N.Y., led Barton to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins last week over Chowan and Emmanuel. Scarpa tallied 16 points on 12 goals and four assists with four ground balls and two caused turnovers in the games.

Scarpa started the week with seven points on five goals and two assists with three ground balls and one caused turnover in a 15-3 rout of Chowan. Scarpa closed out the week with nine points on seven goals and two assists with one ground ball and one caused turnover in a 17-5 win over Emmanuel.


Limestone’s Lafler Named Week 8 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College midfield Courtney Lafler has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 18-24, the Conference announced today. This marks the second POTW for Lafler and third overall for Limestone.

A senior from Penn Yan, N.Y., Lafler paced No. 11 Limestone to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins last week over Mount Olive and Erskine. Lafler tallied 13 points on 12 goals and one assist with two caused turnovers and two ground balls in the games.

Lafler scored five goals and led Limestone to a narrow 15-14 win over Mount Olive. Lafler closed out the week with eight points on seven goals and one assist with two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 24-4 rout of Erskine.


Belmont Abbey’s Felsoci Named Week 7 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College midfield Marin Felsoci has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 11-17, the Conference announced today.

Felsoci, a junior from Arvada, Colo., led Belmont Abbey to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins last week over Converse and Chowan. Felsoci netted 10 points all on goals with 14 draw controls and five ground balls last week.

Against Converse, Felsoci scored five goals and collected seven draws with four ground balls in the 16-4 victory. Felsoci would then score five more goals and notch seven more draws while scooping up one ground ball in a 19-3 win over Chowan.


Erskine’s Burns Named Week 6 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College midfield Kayleigh Burns has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 4-10, the Conference announced today. This marks the first POTW for Burns and second overall for Erskine.

A freshman from Dacula, Ga., Burns propelled the Fleet to a 21-9 Conference Carolinas win over Emmanuel last week. Burns tallied nine points on seven goals and two assists with four draw controls and two ground balls.


Erskine’s Schlagenhauf Named Week 5 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College midfield Katie Schlagenhauf has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 25 - Mar. 3, the Conference announced today.

Schlagenhauf, a junior from Clarence Center, N.Y., paced Erskine to a 1-1 record last week after posting posted 11 points on eight goals and three assists with 11 draw controls, seven caused turnovers and seven ground balls on the week.

In a 19-18 loss to Newberry, Schlagenhauf posted five goals and an assist for six points with six ground balls, six caused turnovers and five draw controls. In a 17-6 win over Chowan, Schlagenhauf tallied five points on three goals and two helpers with six draw controls, one ground ball and one caused turnover.


Limestone’s Ouimet Named Week 4 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College attack Britannie Ouimet has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 18-24, the Conference announced today. This marks the first POTW for Ouimet and second overall for Limestone.

A sophomore from Westlock, Alberta, Ouimet led No. 11 Limestone to a 1-1 record last week after posting posted 13 points on seven goals and six assists with three draw controls and two ground balls on the week.

In a loss to then-No. 19 Tampa, Ouimet notched two goals and two assists for four points with two draw controls and one ground ball. In a 17-7 win over Embry-Riddle (FL), Ouimet registered nine points on five goals and four assists with a draw control and ground ball.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College midfield Courtney Lafler has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 11-17, the Conference announced today.

Lafler, a senior from Penn Yan, N.Y., posted eight points on six goals and two assists in No. 11 Limestone's 13-9 win over No. 10 Florida Tech. 


Mount Olive’s Miller Named Week 2 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive goalie Siena Miller has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 4-10, the Conference announced today.

A junior from Vail, Colo., Miller collected 12 saves and only let up six goals in the Trojans win over two-time defending NAIA national champion Savannah College of Art & Design. The win snapped SCAD's 28-game winning streak. 


Southern Wesleyan’s Santos Named Week 1 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Southern Wesleyan University midfield Latia Santos has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 1-3, the Conference announced today.

Santos, a freshman from Powder Springs, Ga., registered four points on four goals with seven draw controls.
