GREENVILLE, S.C. – Tristyn de Laaf of Limestone has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week after the first week of the regular season.
The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019.
A junior midfielder, de Laaf scored twice in 25th-ranked Limestone's road win over South Atlantic Conference preseason favorite Lenoir-Rhyne on Thursday, Sept. 5. The Dubai, UAE native had a team-high eight shot attempts.
Last season, de Laaf led the Saints with six goals and finished third on the team with a total of 12 points.
