Erskine and Limestone to Meet in Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship Match

WILSON, N.C. - The championship match of the 2019 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship is set with third-seeded Erskine battling fifth-seeded Limestone at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Electric Supply Company Field.

Limestone (10-6-2) secured the semifinal win over top-seeded Chowan (11-5-1) with a golden goal in overtime. Tristyn de Laaf deflected in the game-winning goal in the 98th minute to earn the Saints the win. Chowan got on the scoreboard in the fifth minute when Toby Sims scored his seventh goal of the year. The Hawks would enter intermission up 1-0, but Limestone captured the equalizer early in the second half on a Raphael Bartmann goal. The game would enter the extra frame before Limestone secured the spot in the final on the de Laaf tally. 
Three different players scored from Erskine (10-7-1) in its 3-0 win over seventh-seeded Mount Olive (5-11-1). Juande Rodriquez scored the first goal in the 30th minute before Fernando Gonzalez scored in the 47th minute. Corentin Serbource collected the final goal of the game in the 81st minute.
