Five Conference Carolinas Players Named to D2CCA All-Region Softball Team


MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. - Conference Carolinas was represented by five softball players from three institutions on the 2018 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region team, the association announced Monday (May 14) afternoon.

After being named the 2018 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, King University's Hannah Riddle was tabbed a first team all-region selection, while her teammate Jenna Burnett was named a second team selection.

Limestone College placed two players on the second team, as Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Year Courtney Smith and Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year Ashely Parnell received the honors. North Greenville University's Amanda Coffrin closed out the honorees for Conference Carolinas with a second team nod for the second straight year.
