Keeley Marchant of Erskine Named Conference Carolinas Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Keeley Marchant of Erskine has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Soccer Player of the Week after the opening week of the 2019 regular season.

The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019.

A junior goalkeeper out of North Augusta, S.C., Marchant was fantastic in her first career start in Erskine’s thrilling 1-0 win over the University of Alabama in Huntsville on Friday, Sept. 6 in Due West, S.C.

Marchant made six crucial saves in Erskine’s win over the Chargers to acquire her first career shutout.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
