Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin unveiled the addition of Hailey Gass as a Conference Officer for the 2022-23 academic year in July of 2022.
A graduate of Conference Carolinas member institution Belmont Abbey, Gass joins the Conference Carolinas league office after most recently serving as a Recreation Coordinator with Transylvania County Parks and Recreation in Brevard, North Carolina. In her role at Conference Carolinas, Gass will work closely with Assistant Commissioner/SWA Jill Robbins on student-athlete programming while also assisting with championships and providing general office assistance.
A former Belmont Abbey softball student-athlete, Gass graduated cum laude from Belmont Abbey with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Management.
In addition to being a first-team all-conference performer during her time at Belmont Abbey, Gass was also in multiple honor societies and served as the Co-Secretary of the Sport Management Club. A native of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Gass assisted with all aspects of the Transylvania County Parks and Recreation youth camps and in 2021 she received the Outstanding Service Award.
